Council boss to begin grading of roads in January

The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA, Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID) has promised the good people of Ojokoro that his administration will continue to make sure that the people feel the impact of government. Speaking on a Yoruba radio program, *OJUSE TAANI* on *BOND 92.9FM*, he made it known that, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode is presently constructing 10 more roads in Ojokoro while his administration has constructed four roads which include Odubanwo Road which serves as a link between Lagos and Ogun State. He further said that palliative measures will be taken on other roads from January pending the time the roads gets full attention so as to make movement easy for the people.

He further condemn the use of hazardous fireworks, bangers and other explosives, and urged parents and guardian to follow suit.

Hon. Hammed also called for cancellation of all street carnivals organized by streets and other associations since the Governor of Lagos State has already organized the biggest and longest carnival for all Lagosians which is taking place simultaneously in different locations in the state and it’s not just a one night stand party but an exclusive nine days party and that is the ongoing One Lagos Fiesta.

Hon. Idowu further advised road users to drive with care this Yuletide season and wishes the good people of Ojokoro a prosperous new year in advance.
