The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID) empowered over two hundred Lagosians on the art of various vocational trades ranging from Catering, Hairdressing and Cosmetology, Photography, Households and Soap making among others.

Speaking to the graduands at the council secretariat where the graduation ceremony and certificate presentations took place, the council boss congratulated all graduating students for their doggedness and perseverance which is why on this day, his administration is so happy seeing that the constituency will now have another sets of over two hundred job creators which in turn boost the economy and trade of Lagos state most especially that of Ojokoro Council as most of the beneficiaries are residence of the council.

“These skills will enable you all to fend for yourselves and families. I want you all to make good use of all that you have learnt”, HID Tijani said.

“We will again see how we can also assist you on how to start your business as we have always done to our graduands.

Mrs. Agona Patience, The Assistant Director representing Agency for Mass Education, further implored the graduating students to improve on what the government has taught them. “Do not go and drop this you have learnt, work more on it. I urge you all to form a group because you can not work in isolation. This will enable you to feast well on your communities”, she said.
