The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID) on Monday made known that he, his entire team and consistent supporters are ready to work towards the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa becoming the Senator representing Lagos West senatorial district, come 2023.
Hon. Tijani said this while briefing constituents members today, during the launching of Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Obasa Movement (BAT-OBASA 2023) which took place at Lonlo area in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government.
He used the medium to enlighten the good people of Ojokoro LCDA on the personality, commitments and the contributions of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to national development.
“Our leader and mentor has contributed so much to the advancement of democracy in Nigeria and his impact in nation-building can not be quantified in all ramifications, he said.
“The time is now for the SouthWest to be at the forefront of the nation”, he added.
He further called the attention of all and sundry to the continuous developmental strides being witnessed in Lagos since 1999 till date, due to the good template for a new Lagos laid by Asiwaju Tinubu, which Lagosians are enjoying today.
“It is time to extend these goodies to the centre and the right man for the job is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”, Hon. Tijani concluded.
Speaking on the Lagos West Agenda, Ojokoro council boss further called on stakeholders and party members to also support Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, the present speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly to be the Senator representing Lagos West at the upper chamber in 2023.
“We all know our able speaker Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa’s contributions to Lagos state and his style of leadership at the State House of Assembly is being emulated across all the states of the nation”, he said.
