BreakTheBias: Olabinjo bags Lagos State government’s Women Achievement Recognition

Chief Mrs Omolabake Olabinjo (Yeye Apesinola) has bagged the Lagos State Government’s Women Achievement Recognition as the Governor. Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu presented awards to women whose achievements have brought about development in the State and to women in general.

At the state’s Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation 2022 International Women’s day celebration held at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, on Tuesday 08 March. The state hosted women from different spheres of life and it came as a surprise to Yeye Apesinola when the Governor recognizes her contribution to development of women.

Responding to the state honour, Chief Mrs. Olabinjo appreciated the state for beaming the searchlight on her while noting that she was only doing what she knows how best to do.

“This is a big surprise for me and I am short of words. In fact, this is telling me to do more and I will continue to support women everywhere I found myself”, Olabinjo concluded.
