COVID-19: Chris Oyakhilome sanction over TV show

The United Kingdom has slammed Pastor Chris Oyakhilome for linking coronavirus outbreak with 5G network as he said during his live broadcast.

The Office of Communications (Ofcom) hits the Nigerian Pastor Chris Oyakhilome below the belt.  Ofcom is saddled with the duties of ensuring the right contents goes into the air space to avoid unrest and other social threats.

BBC has reported that Lovewold Channel which can be viewed in the United Kindom broadcasted a program “after a news programme and a live sermon included potentially harmful claims about causes of, and treatments for Covid-19”.

During the live broadcasts, Chris Oyakhilome has linked the pandemic and 5G network as a plot to create “a new world order”.

Scientiest all over the world has condemned this assertion and says the idea of a connection between Covid-19 and 5G is “complete rubbish” and biologically impossible.

The United Kindom has said that being controversial over an issue is not seen as a problem but going against scientists who are keen at looking for a vaccine to save the world will not be allowed.

The UK authority noting that it was not against controversial views, but these had to be “put into context” and not undermine trust in the health authorities.
