COVID-19: IS THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT SINCERE

Nigerian government are not being truth full with COVID-19

It is no more news that millions of Nigerians have been lockdown without any tangible palliative from the federal government. Nigerian government gives out lots of palliatives on pages of newspapers and social media no real evidence of palliative reaching the targeted people.

The new two weeks lockdown broadcast was specific on giving out palliative to the people.  Four days down the line nothing specific on the modalities except jejune excuse of exempting those with 5k balance in their account.

Fact is kids at home are having classes online and cost of data for 3 kids should be in the range of the so called exempted account balance.  Nigerian Government I hail thee.

Is our govt sincere? My honest feeling is NO.

We have voters database, over 25 million voted in the last presidential election. The voters’ register and accreditation process acknowledged a phone number with a link to BVN on the account.

A sincere and responsive govt could make use of such dormant database to start something. Even if it is reaching out to those that voted as a first phase and then move on to registered voters. And thirdly sieving those that had benefited through BVN and then the third phase of those yet to benefit.

Abi se owo won Ni? Abi owo awa Ara ilu? According to a statistics our GDP 1% would leave over $4billion dollars that can be mobilised and use for the people.

Oro Naijiria Sumi ooooo✍?
