The Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Lagos State on Civic Engagement, Hon. Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo (BAO) has assured members of Lagos State Charcoal Suppliers Association supports from the state owing to the fact that charcoal is a lifeline to several other businesses in the state and the nation at large.

BAO, who described the association as a very organized sect and stands every chances of benefiting greatly from the administration of His Excellency, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode which is full of several opportunities for business owners and traders in the state.

“I am so impressed with what I saw today and if you look at the caliber of people that are selling charcoal you will know that they are well organized set of people. I advised them on several ways they can improve on their business and I am very sure they will key into the strategies given”, Olabinjo said.

He further spoke on how charcoal has been a contributing factor to the economy of Lagos and made known that, it has been the lifeline of several other businesses that uses them as raw material and part of or production tool which invariable boost the economy of the state since they keep several other businesses moving.

BAO also uses the opportunity to call on all and sundry to ensure they get their permanent voters’ card and urged those are get to register to do so for them to be able vote whoever they desire in the forth coming election and beyond.

However, The President of the Association, Chief Mrs Alhaja Taiwo Enitan, has described The SA as a true representative and one who will do exploit as far as leadership is concern because his years as Chairman of the council is unprecedented, also his service as SA on Commerce too was exceptional and now Civic Engagement, I am sure he will do well again and that was why we awarded him today”, she said.

The General Chairman of the Association, Chief Moronfolu Aroye also appreciated the SA for honoring the invites and pray that God will continue to be with the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode as he keeps Lagos working.
