The administration of Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo (KSO) fpa. has also recorded another laudable achievement today by launching the first-ever bye-laws since the creation of Egbe Idimu LCDA in the year 2003.
At the ceremony, the council helmsman said that his administration would always respect all judicial pronouncements as a cardinal principle of good governance.
The tireless efforts of the 4th Legislative Arm of the council to put this together are commendable and after series of Stakeholders meetings to digest the contents, the bye-laws went through first and second reading and then forwarded to the Council boss for his assent.
He however, urged the magistrates to be fair, firm and courageous to ensure equitable dispensation and efficient administration of justice in the local government as the law is now binding on all the residents and business owners in EILCDA.
In the same vein, the first-ever Customary Court in Egbe Idimu LCDA is now ready for use as all the things needed for smooth operation are already in place.
The council boss then urged the residents to be law-abiding and adhere strictly to all Government directives as this can only be the best way to support this administration.
