Government meets stakeholders over land resettlement

The Chairman, Lekki LCDA, Barrister Mukandasi Olaitan Ogidan received the officials of the Lagos State Ministry of Lands and Housing and Office of the State Surveyor-General in Council Conference Room.

The officials who came to Lekki LCDA to compile a comprehensive inventory of all developments and plots of land within the entire Resettlement Area of Parcel ‘A’ covering 750 hectares.

The officials of the Office of the Surveyor-General and Lekki LCDA jointly embarked on field inspection and site verification of the entire area to ascertain the boundaries and occupants of buildings and lands, trespassers as well as paid and unpaid beneficiaries.

Present at the meeting were the Surveyor-General, Mr. Omitogun; State Acting Manager, Stakeholders’ Management representing the Director of Land Services, Mr. Emmanuel Agudo; Chairman, Lekki Coastal, Mr Wasiu Ayeola; representative of Epe Lagoon, Abejoye Parcel ‘A’, Mr. Segun Agbaje; Community Relations Officer, Lekki Worldwide, Mr. Atiku Taiwo; Chairman of Baales and Baale, Magbon-Segun, Chief M. Dauda; Baale, Olomowewe, Chief S.O. Aguda; community leaders- Otunba Tolani Alogba; Chief Joseph Adekunle Kesinro (Tiye); Mr. Tola Kadiri (Onitedo); Mr. Saeed Ogunbekun (Epe Lagoon); Engr. Adekoya Adekunle (Lekki Coastal); Mr. Remi Lasisi (Okunraye) and other stakeholders.

The Council Boss enjoined both Local Council and State officials to work in synergy to ensure that the purpose of the Governor is achieved.
