Hon. Tunde Oyekunle, the Councilor representing Ward C in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos has begun another phase of stimulus materials dole out to vulnerable members of the community.
Hon. Oyekunle amidst the extension of the lockdown sees the need to cushion the effect of the stay-at-home order extension by the Federal Government on the people of the constituency as he gave out over 430 stimulus packages.
The package contains Garri, Semolina, Spaghetti and Bread which were distributed among the members of the Fifteen Community Development Association in Ward C, Youth Groups, party faithful among others.
Hon. Oyekunle while speaking with GOVTOROS made known that this time in the nation is the time to be human before being a politician. This is when people have to show that they care for one and other. Not a time to flex a muscle or castigate people striving to cushion the effect of this dreaded pandemic.
“It is just so unfortunate that this pandemic is really heating us up as a nation. The saddest thing is that Nigeria is infected because the virus is not our thing at all but like I said. It is unfortunate”, he said.
He further commended everybody who has also extended goodies to the people in this trying time most especially The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Governor. Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu who has given our quality package to over 200,000 households. The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID) for the over 5000 relief packages he gave out aside from other incentives, Non-Governmental Organizations, individuals and many others who have kept the people’s hope alive.

Elder David Olu Olugbemi the chairman of Ward C Joint CDA speaking at David Kolawole Street in Abule-Egba appreciated the kind gesture of Hon. Tunde as he deemed it fit to extend his hands of friendship to the CDA members.
“I never expected this coming this soon because this is the third relief package you have given out and we being a beneficiary again is highly commendable”, he said.
“I pray that God will continue to protect, replenish you and expand your coast. We are proud of you”, he concluded.
Alhaji Suraju of Ward C who also received sets of relief materials of the Hon. Tunde Oyekunle COVID-19 Stimulus Package further commended the move of the councilor. He said, if all the people that have the capacity to do the same can support the government and the political class, then the world will be a better place to live.
The President of Abule-Egba Main Ground (AMG), Mr. Kayode Sanusi shower blessings on Hon. Tunde Oyekunle for carrying all group along in all of his palliative and other dealings. He further assured the councilor of his group’s alloy support.
In the same vein, the Justice Forum Chairman Ward C, Mr. Yusuf Fatai Olanrewaju (Omo Wura) gave kudos to the legislator for his generous heart and kind donation.
Mr. Monsuru Mustapha, President of Concern Residents Youth Forum’s response is also affirmative of other constituent members had said.
