The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Dr. Mojeed Alabi Balogun has provided another new set of food palliatives for Ikeja residents and community so as to cushioned the effect of the COVID19 pandemic.
The council boss said that there is need to ensure the welfare of our people always and most especially during this period of the virus crisis which is affecting countries across the globe, and Nigeria is not exempted.
“We must make sure we cater for the need of our people at the grassroots at this point in time, most the especially the aged constituents and vulnerable groups”, Ikeja council boss said.

This dole out is the fourth palliative Dr. Mojeed Alabi Balogun will be giving to the people of Ikeja. Residents and constituents members across the six wards of the local government will be the beneficiaries of his other tranch of dole out.
However, Dr. Mojeed Balogun further urged residents to keep maintaining the stipulated safety procedures and precautionary measures put in place by the Lagos state government and that of the public health authorities. The Council Chairman also advised the residents to keep obeying all the directives of the federal government and the rules of Mr. Governor. Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu regulations on COVID19, and as well keep to the curfew put in place by President Muhammadu Buhari.
He further assures residents’ welfare during and after the period of Covid19 pandemic.
The well eventful palliative programme was well attended by top Executive members and management staff as well as legislative members of Ikeja LG council. Also, the APC Ikeja LGA party Chairman, Alhaji Dally Adekunle Adeokun was also in attendance to receive the food palliatives on behalf of the people of Ikeja as a whole.
