Efforts of the government towards curtailing the spread of the pandemic in Nigeria states seams looking abortive as citizens have thrown caution to the wind.
Many now wear nose mask on the jaws and chin. This act will increase the communal spread of the virus as the country is now at the most delicate stage.
Anambra State has now established mobile courts to try any offenders wearing face masks improperly, as one of the measures to combat coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement issued on Thursday in Awka, by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr. Don Adinuba. It further said that such offenders are liable to pay N10,000 or assigned any community service work.
The reason the government is taking such a measure is to further prevent a person to person transmission and this can be achieve through constant use of nose mask.

“Consequently, the government is establishing mobile courts in different parts of the state to try those who contravene the new law on COVID-19 like individuals who do not wear face coverings or do not wear them properly.
“The punishments include payment of up to N10,000 fine and performance of community service,” the statement.
