In Kaduna, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, The state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs has said that the killing of three of the abducted students of the Greenfield University was a warning for not paying the N800 million ransom demanded by their abductors.
It will be recalled that the commissioner in his Tuesday statement made know that the state governor, His Excellency, Nasir El-Rufai was not happy with the incident and the state will do everything in its power to bring the students back.
In a later development on Monday, the abductors killed three of the varsity students and this has pushed pain down the spine of the people. The Commissioner while reacting to the gory occurrence confirmed the recipient of two of the bodies of the varsity.
He said, “On a sad note, security agencies have just reported to the Kaduna State Government the recovery of two more dead bodies of Greenfield University students, killed by armed bandits today, Monday 26th April 2021.
“The retrieved corpses have been evacuated to a mortuary, and the university has been notified of the development.

He further expressed the government’s heart felt on the death of three abducted students.
“The Government of Kaduna State under the leadership of Malam Nasir El-Rufai is saddened by this evil perpetrated against innocent students abducted while pursuing their education for a glorious future.
“The Government sends its deep empathy to their families and the university management and prays for the repose of their souls”, he concluded.
