It is no longer a news that some of our roads are not as motorable as they used to be and this has been the major concern for stakeholders, motorists, residents and more. This has resulted into waste of several productive hours thereby loosing millions to gridlocks.
In Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, the councilor representing Ward C, Hon. Tunde Oyekunle has began palliative measures on his constituency’s roads which he commenced on over the weekend at Agbe Road in Abule-Egba area. Agbe road is a major link road in Ojokoro LCDA and it served the entire constituents who needs to link the federal roads and major cities from the LCDA.
During the active participation in the palliatives to ensuring the people of Ojokoro have a more motorable road, Hon. Tunde made known that the need for his constituents to have a motor worthy road inspired him to execute the project and that will never be the end of goodies for the constituency according to him.
Speaking with GOVTOROS, Hon. Oyekunle made known that, “the decision to embark on the palliative measure on Agbe road is driven by the zeal to serve. By striving to bring smile on the faces of people knowing fully well that governance is all about people friendly decisions and policies”.
It will interest you to know that this will not be the first time he will be initiating and executing projects for the benefit of his immediate constituents and this is another one after his free health care intervention for the constituents.
Present at the project site are the secretary, Mr. Murhi Adejumo and members of Abule Egba Joint Community Development Association (CDA), members of Abule Egba Main Ground (AMG) and a host of others.
The leader of AMG, Mr. Kayode Sanusi expressed gratitude at the response of the legislator to the road and appreciate him for his responsiveness.
The councilor’s initiative and involvement attracted members of Motorcycle Owners Association of Lagos States (MOALS) who later join the councilors and other constituents in the project execution.
