The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo made this known at the closing of the just concluded 2day Exco-Legislature retreat. In his address, he called on stakeholders to come together and focus on why Nigerians voted the entire executives and legislators into office.
Nothing that millions of people are extremely poor and could hardly afford to feed.

“Our nation has millions of extremely poor people, Covid-19 pandemic has worsened unemployment & poverty. We have huge deficits in infrastructure, many children out of school. We’ll be callous and irresponsible if we don’t come together”, Osinbajo said.

While calling all to ensure all hands are on deck, he further called for love and peace in government as this is the only way to liberate the nation out of the life threatening problems.
“we have to work together to sort out these grave life threatening problems our people have to confront everyday. The dogmatic emphasis on procedural niceties is a luxury we cannot afford. It’s time to focus on what we “ve been elected or appointed to do: the people’s welfare”, he concluded.
