Desmond cried out at the floor of the house while narrating his experience during and aftermath the #ENDSARS protest which as hijacked by miscreants.

He further noted that Nigeria has changed from what it uses to be as the respect for constituted authorities and paramount rulers is not more.

“Is this Nigeria? What is going on, people having the mind to enter the Oba’s palace, hold the staff of office? Culture is gone,” he said.

Desmond further raised concern for what will be of the nation Nigeria is the next few years as the country may be a shadow of itself if care is not taken.

“In the next 5years, there will be no Nigeria. If we don’t start now, the youths are not only those who do the peaceful protest, those who looted are youth as well. Pregnant women went into malls, picked things and went away. “, he said.

Hon. Desmond Elliot further called on celebrities, social media influencers, the motivational speakers and others to adopt the right channel to change government and existing people in the office rather than calling for war with the use of social media and their fan base to adopt voting instead.

“When shall we change these narratives? I put it to you celebrities, social media influencers, motivational speakers; this is the only country we have. The wealthy will go”.

“When anything happened; what is the common saying, its we die here. Please Celebrities, please social media influencers, you have the means to change any government, it is your PVC”, Hon. Desmond concluded.
