Hon. Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo (BAO), former Two- Termed Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA and a former Special Adviser in Lagos State distributes palliative materials in the form of basic foodstuff to the Vulnerable Residents of Ifako-Ijaye and Ojokoro Areas, on Wednesday 8th of April.
BAO took it upon himself to cushion the effect of the stay-at-home order which is aimed at curbing the spread of coronavirus in the country. This order has not given the citizens the opportunity to do their normal business. As a result many find it difficult to feed.
Speaking on the modifies of distribution, Olabinjo told newsmen that palliative materials are to be dropped at the doorsteps of the recipients through the use of volunteers from all the Wards of the Council Areas.
“I have over 350 members of BAO disciples who had volunteered to be part of this project and I am very impressed with my followers. Some of them have been here to for days packing all these food items. I have over 1000 packs of rice and garri here and I am sure my followers will do the needful”, he said.
Hon. Olabinjo gave Kudos to our Governor and his Deputy for being proactive in the Fight against the CONVID 19 EPIDEMIC.
According to BAO, the Sacrifice being made by the People at this stage of our National Development, by staying indoors to prevent the spread of the CONVID 19, deserve commendation. He urged the People to be Patient and give maximum support to the Government in order to see the end of the epidemic in our society.
Commending the effort of the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu and his deputy for their doggedness and contributions to the success recorded in the fight against the pandemic.
“The best thing that can ever happen to Lagos is Mr. Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu and Nigeria by extension are benefiting from the brilliance of a brilliant governor. This is evident in the result of Mr. Governor, I give it to BOS. He is my best governor”, he said.
BAO pleaded with well-meaning Nigerians to join the course of humanity by donating and giving to the less privileged as this is the best thing one can do for humanity.
