Olamide to quit music after dropping “Unruly”


Olamide Adedeji, the Nigerian born music sensational artist will probably be retiring from the music scene after the release of his next studio album ‘Unruly’.

According to the ‘Shakiti Bobo’ crona on his social media pages, ‘Unruly’ is 95% ready but its release date has not been set.

He stated that he is taking his time to make the album the best ever, adding that it might probably be his last album.

Olamide, however, said that he will drop singles once in a while when he feels like doing so.

“Next Album = #Unruly 95% ready. Release date = I don’t know

“Taking my time to make it the best ever… probably my last album.. dough I’ll drop singles once in a blue moon when I feel like it.. it’s been a mad ass run !! giving albums back to back.”

If he drops the said album, it will be his 13th studio album, with two being a collaborative album and one an EP.

Twelve years after breaking into the mainstream, Olamide, has no desire to fade away from the music scene.

He has proved his versatility and impressive consistency twelve years after gaining prominence.

The artiste has consistently dropped albums yearly since 2010.
