OSUN STATE: PDP promises inclusive governance

Osun State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has assured members of inclusion in the administration of Senetor Ademola Adeleke. Noting that everyone who had participated in the victory of the incoming governor will be a beneficiatiary of the goodies of the goverance as soon as its get to power in November 2022.

Akindele Adekunle, the State Caretaker Committee Chairman of the party assured members of the party  that the governor-elect will ensure that party men and women who toiled day and night to secure victory for the party shall be duly rewarded.

“Neither the Governor-Elect nor the party leadership has shared positions and offices ahead of the change of government, repeating his earlier address at the party’s recent stakeholders’ meeting that the incoming administration will integrate all interests and caucuses within the party.”

Akindele posited that the recently constituted committee has been further harmonized just as the party election review committee has commenced operations to further harvest the views and aspirations of the party for better performance in future elections.

“I want to assure our teeming party members that no appointment has been made. No decision has been taken to exclude anybody or caucus. The Governor-elect is committed to rewarding all committed party members’, he said.

“The party is also on ground to ensure that the right thing is done before and during the ascendance of the new administration.”

While urging party members to continue aggressive party membership drive across the local governments and to intensify their wards and units ward meetings, Akindele further said that serious  work needed to be done to ensure that all the party candidates for various electoral positions win at the forthcoming general elections.

He maintained that this will consolidate on the achievements recorded during the July 16 election.
