PDP postpone party primaries as APC inaugurates Ajimobi as National Chair

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has postponed its primary election in Edo State. There are strong indications that this was done as a result of the way events are unfolding in the All Progressive Congress (APC) camp in the state.
Earlier today the APC inaugurated Senator Abiola Ajimobi has its new National Party Chairman. Although Ajimobi was not on ground for his official inauguration. He was ably represented by The National Vice Chairman (South-South), Hilliard Eta who took the mantle of leadership of the party on behalf of Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the former governor of Oyo State.

Ajimobi is presently unavailable on health ground while his teaming lovers and supporters are already praying for his speedy recovery.
On the flip side of the PDP, the party primary election, which was earlier slated for June 19 and 20, has been postponed until June 23.
“We have postponed our primary in Edo, till June the 23rd”, the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan told the press.
