Arise News correspondence, Ferdinand Duruoha and cameraman, Francis Ogbonna was attacked on Sunday after the live broadcast they had a live twitter broadcast with the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu on Sunday where the IGP dissolved SARS nationwide.
According to Arise News Correspondence, the duo was returning from the press conference with the inspector general of police when they saw #ENDSARS protesters protesting against Police Brutality, Endsars and Reform Police.
While trying to conduct an interview with the protesters to get their opinion on the IGP’s new stand on SARS which is in line with the demands of the protesters, Ferdinand made known that men of the Nigerian Police Force attacked Arise News Staffs, broke their camera, brutalized the cameraman and broke his head too.

“Just about an hour ago while returning from a press briefing where we took the IG’s message live on twitter banning SARS and on returning from that particular briefing, we saw some youths protesting and we were trying to get the take of the youths on the IG’s message, we were attacked by policemen”, he said.
“They broke his camera, an Arise News Camera and brutally assaulted him and this is the result of what the police had done. I am about to take him to the hospital for treatment”, he concluded.
He further showed the video of Francis who had been brutally assaulted with his head drenched in blood as a result of the police brutality.
