The Executive Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Hon Shamsudeen Abiodun Olaleye has advised members of Ndigbo in APC (Isolo Chapter) on the need to promote unity and harmony among themselves.
The council boss gave the advice when a delegation of Ndigbo in APC led by its Chairman, Hon Emeka West paid him a courtesy visit on Wednesday 10th August 2020.
Hon Emeka West in his opening remark said the visit was in appreciation of the council boss confidence in Ndigbo by including them in his cabinet as SSAs, SAs and supervisory councillors.
He added that the visit was also designed to seek for more support from the council boss during future elections even as they curry to be carried along in the political scheme of things in the council area.

In her own remark, the Woman Leader of the group, Hon Ifunanya Ekeke thanked Hon Olaleye for always protecting the Igbo interest in his administration. “You have done alot for us and that is why we are always blowing your trumpet anywhere, ” Ekeke added.
The council chairman in his response, thanked the delegation for honouring him with the visit. “You have honoured with your visit, honour will not depart you”, he prayed.
Hon Olaleye expressed his appreciation for the support from Ndigbo during his election at last local government poll in 2017 noting that the support has helped tremendously in cementing the rare cordial relationship between him and Hon Jude Emeka Odimogwu.
He, however, advised the delegation to promote unity and harmonise all shades of interest by bringing everybody on board so that Ndigbo would speak with one voice.
“You must harmonise and speak with one voice. Everybody is important in politics because it is a game of numbers, so therefore, you must carry everbody along regardless of wherever they are. Preach unity among yourselves because you belong to the same party, ” Hon Olaleye advised.
