In compliance with the Lagos State Policy Trust on traffic management and transportation, the head of Traffic Management Unit of Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Comrade. Adewale Sanni has urged the general public to comply with all traffic rules and regulations in the LCDA and its environs.
In his message with newsmen, “on behalf of the council authority, I wish to inform the public that the council authority will not condone any form of law-breaking on traffic rules, especially unlawful and indiscriminate parking and driving against traffic (one way), which directly and indirectly hinders the free flows of traffic, thereby leading to waste of human lives, valuable time and making business tedious within it’s jurisdiction”, he said.
The council authority therefore appeal to motorists plying roads, within it’s jurisdiction to be law abiding and the Lagos State traffic management law.
Failure to comply attracts necessary fine.
It is worthy of note that the council in his effort to ensure free flow of traffic usually sensitized constituents at every opportunity which has assisted in traffic management.
