Officers of the Lagos State Police Command have clamped down on people and residents who joined the Revolution Now protest in the state. It will be recorded that this will not be the first time the security operatives will be clamping down on Revolution Now protesters.
Nigerian journalist, Agba Jalingo and not fewer than 20 others were arrested. Towlawi Jamiu, one of the protesters also confirmed the attack by the men of the Nigerian Police Force on ReveolutionNow members at Ikeja Along area of Lagos State. He said 15 people are missing.

“As at the last count, we have confirmed the arrest of 20 people and 15 are still missing. They shot tear gas at us at Ikeja Underbridge and brutalised our people. Agba Jalingo is among those arrested,” he said,
On the flip side, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana could not confirm the incident as at the time of filing this report. In a text message response sent to Punch Correspondence, Bala promised to get across to newsmen as soon as he gets brief on the issue.
Towolawi said more than 100 of the protesters had converged on the Ikeja office of the Committee for the Defense of Human Rights for a press briefing.
