Rotary District 9110, Nigeria is set to give free medical and health services for all and sundry in Lagos and Ogun State through her Rotary Family Health Days (RFHD) annual event slated for 19th -21st November 2020.
The District Governor, Rotn. Bola Oyebade made this know at the second phase of the training and seminar for Rotarians and Rotaractors who will be assisting health workers in the execution of the project and data collection on Wednesday at the Rotary Centre in Ikeja.
According to the Governor, the RFHD is to support and provide free health care for all those who could not afford to visit health facilities and this will go a long way to uplift people with medical challenges.

He further urged all participants to take the data collection training very important as it remains a major challenge for the district last Rotary year as some clubs do not send in their data and reports after project execution.
“The district has invested so much in this data collection training for ease reportage. I encourage Rotarian and Rotaractors present to feel free to as all the questions on this process. You can then go back to your various clubs and be the club trainer too”, DG. Bola Oyebade said.
“We need to fill all data correctly as this will help us get more support from our international partners because we want to do more. When we do adequate reporting then we can get to help more people next year”, he continued.
The Governor further enjoined the club to reach out to people with different communication medium so as to get the people in the community to benefit from the Rotary Family Health Days.
In another development, the chairman of the RFHD, Rotarian Ben OKhumale revealed that the official launching of the Rotary Family Health Days is Monday 16th November 2020 at the Rotary House, 8 Ladoke Akintola Street, GRA; Ikeja Lagos while the public is advised to watch out for Rotary Clubs in their communities.
RFHD program is nationwide and taking place simultaneously all over Nigeria through over 200 Rotary Clubs in the four Rotary Districts across the nation (Districts 9110, 9125, 9141 and 9142). While the training event is for Rotary Clubs in Rotary District 9110 which comprises of all clubs in Lagos and Ogun State.
“As for us in District 9110, this Rotary Family Health Days will be taking place across all the Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas across the two states, so the public should look out for us in their communities between 19th and 21st of this month. It is free for all that can attend”, Ben concluded.
