The President of Rotary club of Alagbado, Rotarian Adeola Owolabi has reassured the Rotaract Club of Alagbado the continuous support of the sponsoring club.

Speaking at the handover fellowship of the RC Alagbado where the young adults handed over leadership mantle to new executive members for 2020 – 2021 Rotary Year where Rotary Opens Opportunities to the world.

The Rotary International Calendar commences from the month of July till June on the Gregorian calendar which makes every July a bright start and a dynamic moment for Paul Harris family members.

The Handing Over fellowship witnessed the change of batting from Rotaractor Iwaloye Bukola to Rotaractor Oluwayemisi Amusan as the president for 2020/2021.

Speaking with GOVTOROS correspondence at the Handover Fellowship of the Rotaract Club of Alagbado on Sunday, Rtn. Adeola Owolabi has reassured the president and members of the club Rotaract of Alagbado that the opportunity year will be a continuous lap of the Connect Year as the outgone year already have a standard which must be kept intact.

“Like I said yesterday, this year is a year of All for one and one for all, we will continue from where Rotarian Aderibigbe Temitope stops and the opportunity year was a very fruitful one for the club”, he said.

Noting that the new year is not going to be an exceptional year but continuity in progress for more opportunities to be opened.

“Rotary Club of Alagbado will continue to carry along the Rotaract Club as we are partners in service and we will continue to support and partner you for this Rotary Year again”, he said.

In another development, the Rotary District 9110, Nigeria in her regular humanitarian service kicked started the new year with a community prostate screening test for over 1,000 men led by the District Governor, Rotarian Bola Oyebade (B.O) and the event was a huge success and many got to know their status for onward treatment.

Present at the Handover Ceremony is the Immediate Past President of the club, Rtn. Aderibigbe Samuel, other Rotarians, Rotaractor Constance Ifekemi Jaiyeola the Immediate Past District Rotaract Representative, and many more.
